Getting Started
What happens after submitting an inquiry?
Here's exactly what happens next. From first call to first session — usually 2-4 weeks.
Step 1 — Free 15-minute consultation
You tell us about your child. We answer questions about ABA, our model, and whether we're a good fit. No pressure, no commitments. If we don't think we're the right provider, we'll say so and point you toward someone who is.
Step 2 — Insurance verification
Send us your insurance card. Within one business day, we'll come back with your verified benefits, your expected out-of-pocket per session, and the authorization timeline for your specific plan. This service is free whether you ultimately work with us or not.
Step 3 — Diagnostic confirmation
Insurance requires a current autism diagnosis to authorize ABA. If your child has one, you'll send us the report. If not, we can refer you to diagnostic providers in Washington who accept your insurance — and walk you through what to expect from a diagnostic evaluation.
Step 4 — Initial assessment
Your BCBA spends 6-10 hours over 1-3 sessions getting to know your child — playing, observing, asking questions. From this we build a treatment plan with concrete, measurable goals you've helped shape.

Step 5 — Authorization
We submit the treatment plan to your insurance for authorization. This typically takes 1-3 weeks depending on the carrier. We handle the paperwork.
Step 6 — Therapy begins
Sessions start. You'll meet your assigned RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) and your BCBA will continue to be involved weekly — supervising sessions, updating goals, and communicating with you.
Step 7 — Ongoing partnership
Treatment plans are reviewed every six months. Goals evolve. Hours adjust. You're at the table for all of it.
