About
The Full Story
Thrive Behavior Therapy was founded to solve a simple frustration: too much ABA in the Greater Seattle area looks like a worksheet drill in a fluorescent-lit room. That's not where children learn best, and it's not where families live.
We do ABA the way the research actually supports, naturalistic, play-based, embedded in your home, your child's school, and the everyday places your family already goes. Our team is small by design. When you call us, you'll talk to a real person who knows your child's name.

Our
Story
Our founder
Sivan So, M.Ed., BCBA, is a graduate of the University of Washington's Applied Behavior Analysis program and has spent more than a decade working with children, teens, and adults across the autism spectrum, including individuals with co-occurring diagnoses. Before founding Thrive, she worked across in-home, clinic, and school-based settings, which is why our service model intentionally blends all three.
Our founder
Ryan Selberg, M.Ed, BCBA, holds a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Washington and brings over a decade of hands-on experience supporting children, teens, and adults across the autism spectrum, including those with co-occurring diagnoses. His career has taken him from family homes to clinics to classrooms, and that range wasn't just professional growth. It became the foundation for everything Thrive is built on. Ryan started this practice because he believed families deserved a service model as flexible and thoughtful as the people it serves.

Our
Values
-
Assent-based: We follow modern, ethical ABA practice. Your child's voice, verbal or not, guides our work.
-
Family-led: You know your child better than anyone. We build goals around what matters to you.
-
Naturalistic: Skills practiced in the real world generalize. Skills practiced at a table, often don't.
-
Transparent: Insurance, scheduling, progress data, you'll always know where things stand.
