Refund Policy

Thrive Behavior Therapy strives to provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. This Refund Policy outlines how refunds are handled in compliance with insurance, healthcare, and regulatory guidelines.
Insurance-Funded Services
Most ABA services are funded through insurance. Any billing adjustments, overpayments, or denied claims will be handled in accordance with insurance carrier policies and applicable laws. Refunds related to insurance overpayments will be issued to the appropriate party as required.
Private Pay Services
For private pay services, payments are due in advance unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Refunds may be issued for services not rendered. Services already provided are non-refundable.
Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee and are not eligible for a refund, as clinician time has been reserved.
Service Discontinuation
If services are discontinued, any remaining balance for unused, prepaid services may be refunded, less any outstanding fees, in accordance with your service agreement.
Administrative and Processing Fees
Administrative, assessment, and report-writing fees are non-refundable once services have been initiated or completed.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment within 10 business days.
